Welcome to my blog!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I believe that everyone can have a beautiful home without spending a fortune! One of my favorite things to do is find creative ways to re-purpose things I already have on hand, or have picked up at yard sales and thrift stores. Join me as I share with you some of my favorite ideas for crafting and decorating, as well as travel adventures, and fun things that I pick up on my treasure hunts! Much of my work is influenced by my love all things French, nature, and of course shabby chic! I have gotten so many creative ideas from you very talented bloggers out there, and I hope that I can be an inspiration to you as well!

In Remembrance

In remembrance of all the innocent lives that were lost in yesterday's shooting.

My heart is heavy. Sending prayers upward for the families, friends, and the townspeople.

Let's all hug the ones that we love, holding them a little closer.
Praying that the Lord will wrap His loving arms around all those who have been hurt by this horrible act.

That is beautiful, Donna. Glittered and perfect-just like I imagine Heaven will be.
There is a Silence and Support happening on Tuesday in blog world. I will send you the graphic. xo Diana

Gorgeous candle. I'm afraid to watch too much because I know they'll start giving more info on the little children that were lost soon...that will tear me up:(

Those children were Josie's age. She's been crawling into our bed the last few nights. We've been trying to shield her from the news. My husband's school position as a social worker has suddenly gotten a lot busier. It's just heart-wrenching.

What a beautiful image to behold in this difficult time. This is a lovely and heartfelt post, Donna. We've been praying a lot here for those heartbroken families. I can envision that wonderful angels scooped up those babies' souls and brought them to heaven - just as this image depicts.
Merry Christmas to you dear Donna.
