Welcome to my blog!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I believe that everyone can have a beautiful home without spending a fortune! One of my favorite things to do is find creative ways to re-purpose things I already have on hand, or have picked up at yard sales and thrift stores. Join me as I share with you some of my favorite ideas for crafting and decorating, as well as travel adventures, and fun things that I pick up on my treasure hunts! Much of my work is influenced by my love all things French, nature, and of course shabby chic! I have gotten so many creative ideas from you very talented bloggers out there, and I hope that I can be an inspiration to you as well!

Dream Baths

Hello, hope you all had a great weekend!
I've been dreaming. Dreaming of what my ideal bathroom would look like!  Tops on my list would be a clawfoot tub.

***sigh***
I can totally see myself in one just like this!

I also would love to have white bead board on the walls like these beautiful vintage inspired baths!
Ok, what do you think of the wall in this bath (below)?  Be honest now!  If this were my bath, I think I'd have an instant headache each time I set foot inside of the door!  Sorry, that wall paper has just got to go!  I do love the tub, though!
I really love the idea of converting an old dresser, or in this case, a buffet, into a sink. How gorgeous, and I love the mirror and wall paper, too.
While I don't think I'd ever paint walls this dark of a brown, I really do love this bathroom!  By adding the hutch, as well as that gorgeous mirror and chandelier above the tub, I think the room now becomes more of a sanctuary!  I could see myself spending alot of time in here!
Another thing on my wish list is a steam shower.  I'm trying to talk hubby into making me one when we move back to our home in Michigan this spring.  I tell him that's the least he can do, since I relocated clear across the country for him and his job!!  Get a load of this shower, it's huge!
I also am drooling over this beautiful shower, too.  Love the rain shower head.  I'll be sharing more of my dream bath ideas with you later this week.
What is your idea of a dream bath?

oh my. Dreamy bathrooms, now I could relax in any of those. As long as they came with a cleaning person...lots of white. ha!
My pick would be the one with the hutch...
Nice post...xo

Just remember, the bigger the shower the more cleaning!!! I found this out when we added a large shower. It's a pain to clean, but I love it.

I think all of these baths are so lovely. I wish we would have put in a clawfoot tub....

Keep dreaming, it will come true.

Hi Miss Donna,

Pretty. However, I must set you straight on "baths", we teddy bears are not in favor of them. Stinky is good in our world. And, our puppies are not in favor of them either. Oh, they put up with them but it's no picnic. They both had their suds-ing over the weekend.

Does Emily like to take a bath?

GREAT bathrooms, Donna! I really like that first one and the one with all the beadboard. I don't care for the one with the small orange/blue(?) tiles at all-xo Diana

I can't even choose! They all look wonderful! I am all about make-overs and recycling. I like the idea of the buffet table turned into a sink!

Have a great start of the week :)

Sign me up for one of each please!!! And you asked me what type of glue I used on my dollar store frame. I swear by Tacky Glue. It dries clear and holds really, really well! Plus it doesn't smell as bad as E6000. =)
