Vintage Milk Glass

It's hard to believe that one of my favorite blogging days is already here: White Wednesday!
If you have never visited Kathleen over at Faded Charm, then you are in for a real treat!  Each week, she hosts White Wednesday, a day when those of us who adore white, cream, and all shades in between, can share and enjoy each others treasures!
So today I thought I'd share with you some of my latest vintage milk glass finds.  I just love this beautiful compote dish!  I've never seen one like it before.  It has a really pretty diamond pattern, which gives it a quilted appearance.
And I also really love the scalloped rim, and of course it is on a pedestal, and you know how much I adore pedestal anythings!!

And I was super excited to discover this pretty pedestal bowl on the same day!!  It's quite heavy, and is full of vintage charm!  Even the bottom features a pretty pattern!
I was also thrilled to find a vase that matched perfectly one that I already had!  They have a pretty tear drop pattern.  Can you imagine how beautiful a spring bouquet of peonies or roses would be in one of these vases?  Or even a big bunch of daisies!
I also already had one of these cute pedestal bowls, so when I found a matching one of the same size, I quickly scooped it up!

I am in love with the pretty open work design on their rims!  All of these pieces are in my Etsy shop, if you care to look.  I am currently have a sale of 20% off everything in my Etsy shop!  Just enter the following code upon checkout to receive your discount: Paris1
Ok, this last piece is obviously not milk glass!  But since it is White Wednesday, after all, I just couldn't resist showing it to you!  It is the prettiest wrought iron candelabra that I painted a nice soft creamy white color.  I gave it a healthy dose of distressing, so it is just oozing with chippy shabby chic charm!  And it also is in my Etsy shop.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

I love milk glass! Yours is lovely:) My husbands aunt gave me a little milk glass pitcher, I want to put some dried lavender in it.

You mentioned re-chargeable batteries and I did use to have some but after a few years they stopped holding their charge. I still have the charger so I should probably get some more!!!

I love your milk glass. I almost bought a hobnail lamp today at GW but it was cracked on the bottom so I passed it up. The little blue and white tray is adorable too!

Hey Donna- you are looking good over here! Several good posts that I missed while down in bed this past week. I have the same candle thingy! Mine is a dark bronze color and on entertainment center right now. Rebecca found it for me last year while junkin'.
I see you are up to your old glitter tricks, too.
How is your sorting and packing going? Have you found a home away from home yet?
So much to do and so little time. I have been sorting all my crafty bins here this afternoon and found my picture from you and it is now on the mantle with the lambs. I will get photos and post them soon.
Hugs- Tete
