Welcome to my blog!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I believe that everyone can have a beautiful home without spending a fortune! One of my favorite things to do is find creative ways to re-purpose things I already have on hand, or have picked up at yard sales and thrift stores. Join me as I share with you some of my favorite ideas for crafting and decorating, as well as travel adventures, and fun things that I pick up on my treasure hunts! Much of my work is influenced by my love all things French, nature, and of course shabby chic! I have gotten so many creative ideas from you very talented bloggers out there, and I hope that I can be an inspiration to you as well!

Shop Sale, and Other Fun Things

Hello Ladies!
I sure have missed blogging lately!  I am sorry that I have not been visiting you much these past few weeks.  Things have been kind of crazy here at the Chateau, and I look forward to the day when I can get back into the swing of things.
Thought I would share with you a few more pictures from some of the neat shops that we visited when we were in Snohomish, Washington last week.  I also wanted to mention that I am having a sale over at my Etsy shopYou can save 20% off from anything!  Just enter the following code when you check out, to receive your discount:  Paris1

Isn't this dress form fun?  It has been decoupaged with vintage patterns!
I adore cloches, and these are gorgeous!  I especially love the one in the middle.
I also really love these pretty vintage toile trays.  I could do some serious damage in this store!!
Check out this old bed spring.  I love, love, love how they repurposed it as a memo board!!
There was a neat beachy themed display in one of the shops.  I really love this interesting terrarium/cloche.  Tucked inside was a pretty mermaid!
 A fun mermaid lamp!
And check out this neat glass house, made from old windows.  It was quite large!
There even was a life sized mermaid! Wish that I hadn't cut off her tail in the photo, ooops!
You know how much I love chalkboards.  I was really drooling over this days of the week one, complete with hooks to hang your coats, purses, or whatever!
Just look at this fun paper wedding cake, made from vintage sheet music!
And of course I was drawn to this gorgeous cabinet, that was painted the prettiest shade of aqua inside.  Love!
And just down the street, a cupcake shop.  Gotta love the name!!

What a fun store. I think I'm glad it isn't close to me so I'm not tempted to buy just about everything.......

Even though I live in Canada, Snohomish isn't that far away. I think I will make time for a look when I go to the Puyallup Heirloom show in May.
I love your pics. xxoo
