Hello and happy Saturday!
Hope you are having a fun one! Have you noticed all of the wonderful banners and garlands that seem to be everywhere here in blogland? Well, I just love them, so I thought I'd try my hand at creating one. A week or so ago I showed you my French Christmas wall hangings/ornaments. Well, I used those same postcards to create a banner that I just placed in my Etsy shop.
Oooh, la, la! The Eiffel Tower, Arch de Triumph, sweet birds flying over Sacre Couer, and my favorite bridge in Paris, the Pont Alexandre III.
I embellished the cards with rhinestones, and a couple of my glittered paper roses made from vintage French book pages. You know how I've become addicted to seam binding, well, I finally learned how to crinkle it myself, thanks to you creative ladies here who shared your crinkling secrets!! Now that I've finally made my first garland, I want to experiment with different designs. The possibilities are endless!
Happy crafting!!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I believe that everyone can have a beautiful home without spending a fortune! One of my favorite things to do is find creative ways to re-purpose things I already have on hand, or have picked up at yard sales and thrift stores. Join me as I share with you some of my favorite ideas for crafting and decorating, as well as travel adventures, and fun things that I pick up on my treasure hunts! Much of my work is influenced by my love all things French, nature, and of course shabby chic! I have gotten so many creative ideas from you very talented bloggers out there, and I hope that I can be an inspiration to you as well!

Donna-
The first thing I noticed was the ribbon (seam binding). It's gorgeous!!! And of course, the sweet paper flower on the post card was the best. Those are my favorites!
