Welcome to my blog!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I believe that everyone can have a beautiful home without spending a fortune! One of my favorite things to do is find creative ways to re-purpose things I already have on hand, or have picked up at yard sales and thrift stores. Join me as I share with you some of my favorite ideas for crafting and decorating, as well as travel adventures, and fun things that I pick up on my treasure hunts! Much of my work is influenced by my love all things French, nature, and of course shabby chic! I have gotten so many creative ideas from you very talented bloggers out there, and I hope that I can be an inspiration to you as well!

Vintage Sheet Music Christmas Ornaments

I just love the look of vintage sheet music!  How about you?  The other day I showed you a tray that I decoupaged with at.  Well, I've been at it again, this time using the sheet music for Christmas ornaments!  Ok, I know that we still have Thanksgiving to get thru, and this may be rushing things, but hey, I need to get a head start on the upcoming busy holiday season!

Glittered snowflakes, glittered tiny millinery flowers, and wonderful crinkly seam binding.  Love!

The ornament above has a really neat slightly flattened shape.  I embellished it with a really pretty dimensional gold glittered star, and glittered millinery flowers.  Because you can never have too much glitter!  Especially around the holidays!
I've put these in my Etsy shop, now I've got to get busy and make some more!  Hope you enjoy the rest of your day!

What lovely ornaments! And you're right about how great it is to get a head start on holiday stuff. I love how you used the seam binding--I've never worked with it, but you make it so pretty! Just love these.

The clear ornaments are great for so many things. They look great with the sheet music and all the extras. I can't remember if I bought some at the end of the season last year!

Excellant!! I actually found a bag of shredded money today and when I saw these I thought how fun it would be to stuff the ornaments with. So many fun things to do with sheet music. Have fun decorating for Christmas.

Donna, these are clever and creative. They have a primitive look about them, without looking old. Does that make any sense at all? I LOVE THEM! Thank you for sharing on the Boardwalk Bragfest.

Hi, I came upon your blog by accident and this was an accident I was happy to have. As best I could, I duplicated your beautiful ornament. Thank you so much. The little girls in my Church group enjoyed making the sheet music ornament also. They all turned out really well. Again thank you for being so generous in sharing your work.

God Bless
