Welcome to my blog!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I believe that everyone can have a beautiful home without spending a fortune! One of my favorite things to do is find creative ways to re-purpose things I already have on hand, or have picked up at yard sales and thrift stores. Join me as I share with you some of my favorite ideas for crafting and decorating, as well as travel adventures, and fun things that I pick up on my treasure hunts! Much of my work is influenced by my love all things French, nature, and of course shabby chic! I have gotten so many creative ideas from you very talented bloggers out there, and I hope that I can be an inspiration to you as well!

Please Pray For Nana Diana and her Brother

*** Feb 6th, Edited to add:***
Sadly, Diana's brother Charlie passed away yesterday. I know that Diana and her family really appreciate your prayers.  I also know that Diana is glad she was able to be there, to tell him goodbye. It is hard not to be shaken when life is taken so unexpectadly.  All the more reason to tell the ones that we love just how much they mean to us, isn't it?

You may know Diana, from Nana Diana Takes a Break.  Her brother Charlie, her only sibling, was just diagnosed with terminal cancer, and was given days, if not hours, to live.  Could you please pray not only for Diana and her family, but for Charlie as well?  You can visit Diana here, to read more.
Your prayers for comfort, and a peaceful passing for her beloved brother would mean so much.  Thank you.

Dear Donna,
That is a beautiful picture.
My heart aches for Diana, Charlie, and his family. SOOOO very sad as I was there once with my only daughter.
Any hoo...it has always been my hearts desire to go to Paris and last night I read on your side bar that you have been. I bow down to you My Queen. I always ask for everyone going to Paris to send me a post card from there...I have received 4 glorious cards that I treasure.
I have friends that live in Greyling, Michigan...I have always been a fan of the movie...Somewhere in time, that was filmed on...my mind just went out on a break...I cannot....the Grand Hotel, I think. I will remember at o300 in the morning.
Anxious to see more of Emily and your trip...we, well growing up had a gorgeous blonde cocker and I knew there were black ones but I have never seen that gorgeous brown color and her facial features are gorgeous and very animated....my husband and I are big animal lovers.
have fun
hugs and prayers
