It's a rainy day here in Savannah, so we've been hanging out at the motor home. I just keep reminding myself that rain is better than the snow we are getting back at home in the Midwest!
So today I thought I would share with you some more shots that I took when we were downtown the other day.
Just love this gorgeous display in the Paris Market shop. It is the most amazing store, I can hardly wait to go back and do some real shopping!
Neat prayer candles.
I don't know what I would do with this paper, but I love it! Huge rolls of brown craft paper, with neat graphics, including giant knives, forks and spoons.
The Old Cotton Exchange building, built in 1887. Notice the pretty fountain with the winged lion? So much history here!
We drove over this suspension bridge when we first got here. It may not look very large in the photo, but it is huge! And a bit unnerving driving over it in the motor home!
I just love soaking up all of the unique details, such as these pretty old shutters, below!
After leaving the snow and cold behind, it's such a treat to see green grass, and flowers!
Isn't this old urn amazing?
I'll be sharing lots more photos with you, hope you are having a great day!

We have quite the storm going in West MI. You lucky lady. Keep the pictures coming.
Sorry you're having rain but glad to see some new pics! Love that kraft paper, I know you will put it to good use! ;-D
XO,

Hi, I just discovered your blog and so glad I did. I love Savannah also and do not get there as much as I would like to. I also have a Spaniel, ( Cavalier King Charles) praying for your friend!
Hi Donna,
Oh how I love Savannah! I've been in that shop and so many others. It's such a fun place.
That bridge absolutely terrified me too death. I'm nervous crossing over bridges anyway, but that one was scary!
Glad you are having a good time.
hugs
Sissie
Hi Miss Donna,
You're missing all the snow...sigh.
Where is Miss Emily?
Hugs,
Prudence ♥
Hi Donna, I've never been to Savannah, but you make it sound so very wonderful.
I will take rain over snow any day :)
You should look for some fun and whimsy umbrella in the French Market . . . I'll bet you could find something that would make rainy days a pleasure :)
Have fun!
Your blogging sister, Connie :)
Sounds like you are having a wonderful time! Love that market. Oh my, I could get lost in there!

Savannah is a pretty little city! Is that store the one on a corner of the main street? I know... so little information I've given you. Sorry! But the last time I was there, there was a lovely shop filled to brim with lots of french inspired eye candy. Anyway, thanks for sharing your adventures!
Thanks for sharing these beautiful photos of Savannah, Donna! I just adore this architecture. Makes me smile as I look out the window at our winter wonderland.
Well, at least we have electricity!
Sending hugs from blizzard-central,
Susan
I think this is the last post I need to get caught up on, haven't felt good for a couple days and got behind.
You find the most amazing things. Love all your photos. Keep posting on this wonderful place.
Hi Donna, Oh my gosh you are having way too much fun. Love your pics and the fabulous places you are visiting.
Have fun,
Hugs, Celestina Marie
