Welcome to my blog!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I believe that everyone can have a beautiful home without spending a fortune! One of my favorite things to do is find creative ways to re-purpose things I already have on hand, or have picked up at yard sales and thrift stores. Join me as I share with you some of my favorite ideas for crafting and decorating, as well as travel adventures, and fun things that I pick up on my treasure hunts! Much of my work is influenced by my love all things French, nature, and of course shabby chic! I have gotten so many creative ideas from you very talented bloggers out there, and I hope that I can be an inspiration to you as well!

Thinking Pink & Giveaway Reminder!

Hello everyone, hope you had a great week!
I've been on a pink kick lately, and thought I would share with you some of my latest creations that I made for my shop.
I should have taken a before picture of this cute vintage wicker shelf.  To say that it was dirty was an understatement!  After a good scrubbing, priming, and multiple coats of a soft light pink, I think she is oh so much happier!  And so pretty, I think!

For her photo shoot, I just had to add a few more pink pretties, like this tea cup and saucer that belonged to hubby's mom.
And some of my pink faux eggs that I have been creating.
Moving on, how about a pink Eiffel Tower?  When I was debating on what color to paint the tower, I thought to myself "why not pink?!"  Wouldn't it look cute in a little girl's room?
I even made a glittered Eiffel Tower tag to go with it (in pink, of course!).
I love putting together picture frame collections, and am really loving this set that I painted pink and creamy white.
I've added pretty decorative paper to the frames (notice the sweet pink birdies?) as well as vintage sheet music.  But of course they could easily be replaced with photos or artwork.

Of course I had to share a few photos of our Katie, soaking up the sun on "her" chaise lounge in our sun room!
Sure is rough being a puppy!

Not sure pink would go over well in my male-dominated house, so I will live vicariously through your blog!
