Welcome to my blog!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I believe that everyone can have a beautiful home without spending a fortune! One of my favorite things to do is find creative ways to re-purpose things I already have on hand, or have picked up at yard sales and thrift stores. Join me as I share with you some of my favorite ideas for crafting and decorating, as well as travel adventures, and fun things that I pick up on my treasure hunts! Much of my work is influenced by my love all things French, nature, and of course shabby chic! I have gotten so many creative ideas from you very talented bloggers out there, and I hope that I can be an inspiration to you as well!

Vintage Inspired Easter Vignette

Bonjour! It's hard to believe that Easter is just right around the corner, isn't it? I originally wasn't going to do any decorating for spring or Easter, since we are moving at the end of the month. But, after seeing so many lovely vignettes here in blog land, I just couldn't resist creating one of my own!

The vintage three tired pedestal bowl is one of my very favorite things!  It is so fun to change out with the seasons, and even enjoy just by itself.  Here I've filled it with lots of moss, faux blue eggs, adorable little bird's nests, and the cutest little bunny!
Isn't he adorable? He's vintage and made of chalkware.  I've never seen another one like it.  I've added a little speckled egg to his cart!
 Cute little nests and feathers.

I found this pretty box a few years ago at a moving sale, and I just love it!  Notice the sweet little nest and eggs under the clear dome of the lid?
Open it up, and you will find a surprise!
Who could resist these charming little duckies in their pretty Easter bonnets?  I tucked this cute vintage Easter card into a vintage flower frog (a lucky garage sale find years ago).
And here are a few more shots of my pedestal.  I think I must be obsessed with pedestals!

Have a great day!

Oh, your Easter decorations are just so bee-u-tee-ful. We just love bunnies.

I didn't know that you were moving so soon, gosh I am happy that you will be a little bit closer to where I live - just a tad. But better than across the country.

Happy Easter ♥

Oh look at you so dedicated in crafting eventhough you are busy getting ready to move! I know the feeling. You just couldn't resist right? It's understandable that you might do crafting less during your mOVe. Moving is a LOT of work!
