Spring Themed Tiered Pedestal Bowl

Bon Jour Mon Amis!
While we may still be in the midst of a very long, cold, snowy winter, today I had thoughts of Spring!  Yes, Spring!  I wanted to share with you the display that I did in the 3 tiered wooden vintage pedestal bowl that I found last week.
I originally planned on using this beauty in my craft room, and she eventually will make her way there.  But for now I am having so much fun with this display!  I decided to go with an Easter theme. I know, I know!  Valentine's Day is not even here, and I am thinking of Easter?!  Oui, oui!  If you live in a cold climate like I do, you totally understand my attempting to rush the seasons!!   Let's take a look at what I added:
On the bottom tier I added this sweet vintage Easter postcard.  Aren't those little ducks adorable?

I also tucked in alot of moss, both some that I collected on our trip to the Upper Peninsula last fall, as well as some from the craft store.  I was planning on adding some dried hydrangeas, but the ones I had were old and very fragile, and they made a total mess!  I actually like the way these pretty blue silk ones look!
I tucked in little faux nests and eggs, and feathers, too!

I've got it on our coffee table, so we will enjoy it every day.
Here's a close up of the egg and nest cuteness!

I also added this adorable little vintage rabbit.  I think he is made of chalkware.  He's pushing a cart (I've placed an egg inside), and is just the one of the cutest bunnies ever!

Just seeing all of these cheery colors makes me think Spring!!
A few weeks ago at the Salvation Army I found a bunch of these fun little tart tins.  I wasn't sure what I would use them for, but I quickly snatched them up!  I think they look so pretty with the votive candles in.  Notice how my vintage silver creamer reflects the glow of the candles?

Here's a couple more shots.  I was snap happy today with the camera!

Oh, I filled my little creamer with more moss, eggs, and hydrangeas!
And here is what my pedestal bowl looked like before I painted it!
 One last look!
Hope you are having a great day!  Now I need to go blog hopping and see what all of you talented ladies have been up to!
Au Revoir!

I love your very spring-like display. We need another sunny day too. The sun gives the impression of more warmth than there really is. BRRR!

What color did you paint that? Bwhahahaha...Heirloom white comes to mind! I LOVE IT! Spring has been on my mind lately too, Donna. I think it is this cold, dreary climate we live in that makes us long for Spring!

When does your hubby leave again...or is he gone already? I'll bet you get lots of projects done when he is gone. I used to get a lot more done when MyHero traveled for work. Hugs-Diana

I love the pedestal bowl. So good now it's painted. I'd not be able to stop looking at it even if it were empty. I'm sure our local gift ware stores sell things like that for mega bucks.

Cheers,

Hi Donna,
Super job on the tiered stand transformation! The Easter theme really perks up us snowbound folks. And I love the bunny & tart tins.
Happy WW!
