Welcome to my blog!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I believe that everyone can have a beautiful home without spending a fortune! One of my favorite things to do is find creative ways to re-purpose things I already have on hand, or have picked up at yard sales and thrift stores. Join me as I share with you some of my favorite ideas for crafting and decorating, as well as travel adventures, and fun things that I pick up on my treasure hunts! Much of my work is influenced by my love all things French, nature, and of course shabby chic! I have gotten so many creative ideas from you very talented bloggers out there, and I hope that I can be an inspiration to you as well!

A Fun Shop

Bonjour Ya'll!
Hope you have been enjoying your week!  One of the great things about exploring while on vacation here in Savannah is checking out the fun shops!  The other day I went in the most amazing one, called "Two Women and a Warehouse".
It's a huge place, full of beautiful painted furniture, vintage treasures, and tons of other neat finds.
I was in love with this gorgeous large framed chalkboard!  And of course the aqua wall that it was hanging on!
Isn't this china cabinet amazing?  I love the light blue color it's been painted.
I thought this vintage vanity and chair was so pretty.
And just look at the fun stripes on this chest!  My mom has a cedar chest just like this, that she got way back in the 40's when she and my dad married.  I may be dating myself here, but they used to be called "hope chests".  Remember that?
Like many of you, I love wire baskets, and I was totally drooling over these!!
Ditto with this gorgeous blue painted vintage sideboard!  I would love to take this beauty home with me!
I thought this blue dresser was so pretty, too!
Gotta love their sign!!!  How fun is that?
And this is a chalkboard just outside the shop!
Next Saturday they will be hosting a flea market, I can hardly wait to attend!
Enjoy your weekend, looking forward to seeing what ya'll have been up to!

Hi Miss Donna,

I'm worried about you - please don't lose your Michigan accent. Oh, and I never warned you, you have to ask for "unsweet" tea (iced) or you get sugar with a few drops of tea mixed in. Awful stuff!

Is Miss Emily woofing southern?

Hi Donna and Princess Emily,
I can see you have been having the time of your life...that looked like an awesome place to visit and shop...I love the sideboard but wish it was in red or white.
I like your eggs...I have worked with tissue paper and it can be quite tedious as you try to build it up.
keep having fun
hugs
