Welcome to my blog!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I believe that everyone can have a beautiful home without spending a fortune! One of my favorite things to do is find creative ways to re-purpose things I already have on hand, or have picked up at yard sales and thrift stores. Join me as I share with you some of my favorite ideas for crafting and decorating, as well as travel adventures, and fun things that I pick up on my treasure hunts! Much of my work is influenced by my love all things French, nature, and of course shabby chic! I have gotten so many creative ideas from you very talented bloggers out there, and I hope that I can be an inspiration to you as well!

Flea Marketing

Hello ladies, hope you've been having a great weekend!  Yesterday the weather was warm and sunny, the perfect day for our flea market!
Thought I'd share with you a few shots of my booth, and several others that I enjoyed at the market.
Lots of aqua and turquoise love!
A blue painted bowl, with shells from our beach, and one of my mermaid tags!
A trio of glittered Parisian wall hangings, oooh,la, la!
Lots of vintage and vintage inspired treasures!
Thought for sure I'd sell this yummy shabby wine rack and turquoise chalkboard!  Ended up bringing them home!
More fun goodies in my booth!  Lots of shabby goodness, including my pedestal bowls and vintage book bundles!
I was thrilled to sell this chalkboard, along with two others, to a bride to be for her wedding reception!
 Loved this giant chalkboard, below!
One of my favorite booths had some awesome vintage furniture!  Love the bed!
Not sure where the nude beach is around here!  But you won't find me there:)!
Lovin' all of the wonderful hand painted signs.
 Especially this bon appetit!!
Isn't this pink bench just charming?  Love!!!
The same booth had lots of neat hardware and bits and bobs.  Loved the glass crystal knobs!
She painted this former vintage sewing cabinet with Annie Sloan paint, love the color!  Now I can't wait to get my hands on some of that paint!  I think I must be the last person here in blogland who hasn't used it!
A fun turquoise chair, and some wonderfully rusty bedsprings!
It was a fun day. It was great to get out and meet some nice people, do a bit of shopping myself, and sell some of my creations!
Have a great day!

Glad you had a good time and love your stuff. Love the bed, bench- have one of those, and the signs. Not a nuder, huh? I thought it was so funny since it's so cold there. A nude beach with people in long johns came to mind. Or blue people- like smurfs.
Hugs- Tete

Love that wicker planter(?) or whatever it was originally designed for- would look great on my patio...glad you had a good time, and don't worry, what you don't sell at this one you'll sell at the next one (my motto!)

Well, Donna! I can't believe you had to bring ANYTHING home! Everything looks marvelous!

Nude beach, huh? Yeah...maybe at SweetCheeks age...but umm...well, I imagine the fish would fry themselves if I walked into the lake nude-easiest way for them to commit fishicide!

Had to laugh about Tete's comment about the Smurfs. Did anyone else think it was a little odd that ALL those little blue men lived with ONE little blue girl? yeah..what is up with THAT? xo Diana

Wow! love the aqua-white theme going on in your booth. You're not the only one that hasn't tried the Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, they don't sell it here in Utah, so that makes two of us.
Have a great week!
