Hope you all are having a wonderful week, it sure is flying by, isn't it? Especially when I look at the calendar and realize that I have yet to buy one Christmas present! Yes, I've not even begun to shop! I know I need to get rolling, but I've been so busy decorating and crafting, that I've been putting it off! This weekend I think I will do my kind of shopping: via catalog and on-line!!
A few weeks ago, I showed you a Parisian inspired Christmas garland that I made. Well, I just finished another one, but I made it a bit differently than the first.
Glittered Parisian vintage inspired Christmas cards. Crinkly seam binding, rhinestones, dreamy images. What's not to love?!
I embellished these with some medallion rosette "thingys", which I had so much fun creating! I know that many of you ladies have been making these forever, but I finally got around to trying them myself. They are so fun to make!
Oooh, la, la!! I added lovely vintage Mother of Pearl buttons to the center, and tiny little rhinestones for some bling!
I embellished each card with rhinestones, and added a border of more of that wonderful seambinding around each one.
I have added the garland to my Etsy shop, which you can see here if you'd like to visit.
Au Revoir for now, hope you all have a Bon Soir! (good night!)

Donna- That is just a lovely post. I see you have a bit of bling on there (gee-what a surprise)!!! I love your little rosette thingy there..nice companion prints you chose...what NO GLITTER ON IT?

ARG! Good grief, another glitter post...LOL!
ReplyDeleteI really do like these. The colors are so pretty and cool.
I so need to finish my shopping up- do it online so need to be getting busy so it will get here on time.
I am at a loss for ideas this year. No one NEEDS anything and they have very limited interest and it's guys. They have more clothes than they could ever wear now, tighty whiteys are in good shape, they don't do anything but watch tv in the winter.
I usually am so good at this and just nothing is popping into my head!
Oh well- I could do food! LOL

Beautiful! Love the Christmas garland. My special package arrived. My daughter is going to love have these hanging in her Parisian bedroom. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteDonna, this garland is even prettier than the first one! But, I do love them both. The rhinestones really add extra bling!
ReplyDeleteWouldn't it be nice if a few extra days were added to December? There just isn't enough time to get everything done, especially the shopping!
