The other day I shared with you the bird's eggs that I've been busy making from polymer clay. Well, today I'd like to show you the clay tags that I have been creating. I know that Sculpy has been around for quite some time, but for some reason I never had worked with it til now. I've been having so much fun playing with it, it is addictive!
The other day I purchased a cute set of tiny little scalloped edge cutters. I thought they would be the perfect shapes and sizes for fun little clay tags. I've used some of my favorite rubber stamps to add imprints to the tags. Isn't this little birdie sweet?
I love the nest tags as well.
I can think of so many fun ways to use the tags. Here I displayed it on a glass cloche (notice my little pink clay eggs inside?).
I also had alot of fun creating this set of Frenchy tags, that I'll be putting in my Etsy shop.
I just happened to have the perfect blue and white baker's twine.
You can't tell in the photos, but this particular blue clay has tiny bits of shimmery glitter. 'Cause you know how much I love glitter:)
Wouldn't this make a great hostess gift? A nice bottle of wine presented with a cute tag!
Or you could embellish a basket with a pretty tag. How about adding one to a gift, for a little gift within a gift:) So many possibilities. So, I will be making lots more tags, to have on hand as little gifts, to add to my shop, and some to keep for myself!
Ok, I know the below photo is blurry, but I couldn't resist sharing with you! Little Katie was playing with one of her favorite toys, but she decided she wanted to lunge for the camera rather than sweetly pose!
My, she sure is growing fast:)
Enjoy your weekend!

Another medium I have to try. Your tags are fantastic. Especially love them on a wine bottle. Katie is so precious. I want to kiss her sweet little face.
ReplyDeleteOkay- I don't know what is cuter here--the pink or the blue tags but the absolute winner is that baby at the end. My Gosh- is she cute, or what? Love to you, Donna- xo Diana
