Bon Jour Mon Amis!
As you may have noticed, I love all things French! Combine that with paint, Mod Podge, and beautiful images from the Graphics Fairy, and what do you get?
Well, for starters this French country wooden caddy!
While it was already cream when I discovered it, the paint was looking a little tired. So, I freshened it up with some Heirloom White and a bit of distressing around the edges.

I really love this shape of this caddy, from the curvy front and back to the metal and wooden handle. I thought this beautiful French label that I found over at the Graphics Fairy would take it from ok to oooh, la, la!
Look at all of the gorgeous details of the image! I really love the sepia tones, don't you?
I guess you could say that Heirloom White paint, Mod Podge, and wood anything are staples in my craft room, as that is the basis of my next project, this cute little wooden tray. I chose one of my all time favorite French labels at the Graphics Fairy for this piece. I should back up a bit and say that I sure wish I had taken a before shot of this tray. It began life painted a very drab rusty color (so not me!).
I could hardly wait to paint her HW, but first I added these cute little wooden ball feet that I just so happened to have. After painting and distressing a bit, I then decoupaged the label to the inside.
And viola! A tres chic French inspired tray was born!!
While I would love to keep both of these creations, I've added them to my Etsy shop.
