A Little Sneak Peak!

Hello, ladies!
Hope you all are having a great day!  Today I thought I'd give you a little sneak peak at some of the things that I've created for the Retreat Vintage Market show on beautiful Camano Island, Washington, that I will have a booth at!

When I found this gorgeous cafe graphic over at the Graphics Fairy, I just knew that it would be perfect for my lazy Susan redo!  I don't have a before shot, but she was pretty boring, complete with faux wood grain!
My favorite shade of creamy white, the graphic, and some generous distressing, and she is one of my favorite creations!!!  (I think she is much happier with her transformation!!)
I've been having lots of fun creating these little glittered and embellished pails!  Of course I love all things French, and plan on having lots of Frenchy creations at the show.  So, this Eiffel Tower, lots of glitter, crinkly seam binding, and a burlap "flower" (made from a coffee bag!) made for a cute creation, I think!
Sorry for the blurry photo below!  I also added vintage French vocabulary cards to the little pails for a fun surprise!

Oooh, la, la!!

Wait!!!  What is with the tent you see in our living room?  Well, I was so excited when the UPS man delivered my tent for the show this morning, that hubby and I did a trial run setting up the tent!  When we were finished, hubby said "ok, now let's take it down and put it in the storage bag". Well, when I told him I wanted to leave it up, so I could practice setting up and arranging my booth, he looked at me like I had totally lost it!!!
I was super excited when I discovered this tin framed mirror.  I quickly covered the former icky brown color with a nice soft creamy shade of white!  Much better, I think!!
And I am giving you a little glimpse of the Puget Sound in the reflection!
I found this vintage pedestal a week or so ago.  It is made of metal and is very heavy.  Of course I had to paint it cream, too.  Some distressing and and antiquing glaze really bring out all of the wonderful details of the piece, I think.

Ok, this next photo has nothing to do with today's post, but I had to share it with you anyway!  I don't think I will ever get tired of the gorgeous sunsets around here!  Camano Island, where the show will be held, is what you see in the distance.
If you are in the area on Saturday, June 25th, you won't want to miss the show!  Not only will there be local vendors, but out of state artisans as well.  So there will be lots of fun, and lots of talent!  You can read more about the Retreat Vintage Market here.

Ok, now I am off to do some more painting and glittering!  Have a great night!!

I am linking up with Kathleen over at Faded Charm for White Wednesday.  Be sure to check it out!!

  11. I have a friend (from our town, Redding, Ca) who said she's going to that show! Super jealous! I'm sure you will do great! Laughing at the tent-I did that(in my garage though) last month for a show I was doing-I wanted to "practice" setting up too. My hubby just rolled his eyes and let me do my thing.

    Good luck!
