Heirloom White

I thought I'd take a break from spray painting to do a bit of blogging.  I have been busy painting my heart out, working a little magic on all the garage sale stuff I got last weekend!  I am afraid that I've fallen a bit behind on may gardening, so as soon as I'm done here, I've got to get outside & get busy!  It's no secret that I love Heirloom White spray paint!  And Ralph Lauren's antiquing glaze in "Smoke", too!  I wanted to share with you today some of the pieces that I picked up at yard sales over the past weeks.  Isn't it amazing what a bit of paint can do?

I am so excited with the way this wall sconce and plaques turned out!  They are made of Syroco (a type of resin), and were gold, as you can see in the before shot below.  I really love how the antiquing glaze brings out all of the detail!
Ok, I showed you the "before" of this cast iron door stop a few weeks ago.  It actually was a lot uglier in person than in the photo!  Look what a little H.W. can do!  It's perfect in for our kitchen!

This vintage corner curio shelf looks oh, so much better with her face lift, don't you think?!
I'm afraid that I don't have a before picture of this vintage wooden bowl.   As soon as I brought it home from garage saling, I got busy spray painting it! While it wasn't ugly by any means, I just knew that a bit of H.W. & Ralph would kick it up a notch!

I sure don't know what I'll do if Rustoleum ever decides to discontinue Heirloom White, ditto with Ralph!

Enjoy the rest of your day!  Now I'm off to do some serious yard work!
I am linking up with Faded Charm for White Wednesday, and Reinvented for Trash to Treasure Tuesday, and Pajama Party, at My Life In PJs. Be sure to stop in & see all of the great ideas!
Also joining Jan over at BobbyPins Boardwalk, for her fun Bragfest, and  Beyond the Picket Fence Under $100 linky party!

  2. I admit it, Yer Honour, I am normally not a fan of white almost anything..but I have to admit, I like the pedestal bowl-it still retains its inherent funkiness..

  19. Great transformations! I am going to have to look for the glaze you used! I bought the exact same shelf for Maddie's room and wanted to paint it white, but she liked it the way it was! I love how it turned out white! I'll have to show her your picture.
I remember when you posted about the doorstop...looks fantastic white!
