Welcome to my blog!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I believe that everyone can have a beautiful home without spending a fortune! One of my favorite things to do is find creative ways to re-purpose things I already have on hand, or have picked up at yard sales and thrift stores. Join me as I share with you some of my favorite ideas for crafting and decorating, as well as travel adventures, and fun things that I pick up on my treasure hunts! Much of my work is influenced by my love all things French, nature, and of course shabby chic! I have gotten so many creative ideas from you very talented bloggers out there, and I hope that I can be an inspiration to you as well!

Thinking of.............Christmas?????

Hello Ladies!
Yes, I know that Halloween is not even over, but I am already thinking of Christmas!  Are you?  I usually am not at all in the mood for Christmas until much later, but this year I wanted to get a head start on my holiday creations for my Etsy shop!  I thought I'd show you what I've been working on.  If you follow me on a regular basis, you know that I am crazy about all things French!  So of course I had to make some Parisian themed hangings!

I have been having so much fun making these wall hangings, that I think will also be pretty hung on the tree.

Reproduction vintage French postcards, wonderfully crinkly seam binding, jingle bells, rhinestones and my paper roses made from vintage French book pages!  Ooooh, la, la!!  My favorite are these sweet birdies, flying over Sacre Couer.

And you know how I adore the Eiffel Tower!

These are just a few of them, I've made a bunch more!!  The three of these have gone in my shop.  You can see them here if you wish.  Au Revoir!!
I have linked up with the following fun parties. Be sure to stop in for a visit!

Donna- Those are gorgeous! You really have a good eye for putting things together. I love the one with the birds. I have been thinking Christmas earlier than usual too. I think I need to weed out some ornaments this year and pass them along. I have HUGE amounts of Christmas "stuff"...a whole area of it in the basement. Did you go through Christmas, MI on your trip? I think you must have if you went through Munising.. I'd love to move there and organize that whole little town...lol Me and my big ideas!

Joyeus Noel (early). BTW-That is one of my daughter's married last name..Noel -I love it.
Hugs- Diana

I love them! I too love all things French, I can't stand it, if it's French I want it. I teach French at the high school level and everytime my students see something frenchie, they make sure I know where it is or get it for me. I never get tired of France. I love your hangings and so glad i found your blog!

Yes Donna, I am actually starting to think about Christmas. I am over the Halloween Fall season for decorating, NOT the weather though. Those french vintage post cards are so cute. I was thinking they would make a really cute Fireplace mantel banner too.
